Perez Could Be In Deep for Miley’s Upskirt Peek

We all know that Perez Hilton is pretty much an idiot. Why the dude is even famous is beyond me. He marks up every picture he puts on his blog, and he generally has nothing worthwhile to say. Never mind the fact that looks as stupid as he sounds. But now, Perez is getting in some deep shit for some pictures he’s posted, and it’s not because he drew stupid cartoon balloons coming off of them. And Perez didn’t even post this picture on his blog, it was on his Twitter account.
The picture that’s in question is one of a Miley Cyrus upskirt and she’s not wearing any panties. What’s the big deal? Well, Miley Cyrus is only 17. So she’s a minor and putting up pictures like that of Miley Cyrus is just not cool. Miley has since called Perez an “idiot” on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show and it’s since been reported that neither Miley nor her parents are going to be pressing charges. But, is what Perez did really so bad?
Please understand that I’m not saying that child pornography is a good thing. I’m all for porn but when kids are involved, I’m pretty sickened by it. But, can this be considered as child pornography? Miley will turn the legal age of 18 in November. And while I realize that we all must be sticklers to the law when it comes to this kind of thing and the “few months away from” excuse just ain’t gonna fly, let’s look at the way Miley acts for a moment, shall we?
She runs around with boyfriend after boyfriend, she posts pictures of herself online in just her bra and panties, and she kisses girl onstage and gyrates with her male backup dancers when she’s performing. Can anyone really be blamed for treating Miley like an adult when she’s shown us time and time again that she’s ready to start acting like one? And okay, let’s say that Miley is still just a kid and is too immature to realize that she’s acting like a complete whore. But her parents are also letting her act like a complete whore. Not just letting her, but actually encouraging it. Remember that photo of Miley on the cover of Vanity Fair with nothing but a sheet draped over her? She was 16 at the time that picture was taken and her parents were cheering her on from the sidelines. And they are definitely old enough to realize that their daughter is a slut.
It’s really hard to say who’s at fault here. Perez is an idiot and no, he probably shouldn’t have posted Miley’s vag to his Twitter site. But can we really blame him for treating Miley the way she and her parents have wanted us to all along?
